You don’t have to turn every learning question into the same kind of conversation. Bettership has four agents with different jobs, working from shared context about what you’re learning and what matters to you.

Steward: direction and product help

Steward helps you describe what you want to get better at, correct what Bettership remembers about you, and find the right place to do something. Example: “I want to get better at making decisions with incomplete information. Help me define that Focus Area.” Ask Steward

Scout: your learning material

Scout helps you find resources, understand what a resource contains, see connections across your Library, and organize what you’ve brought in. Example: “What do I already have on interviewing customers, and where do those resources disagree?” Learn with Scout

Coach: understanding and practice

Coach helps you work through an idea, try it in an exercise, and use feedback to make a better attempt. You can also bring back a real situation you want to debrief. Example: “I understand the feedback framework in this article. Help me practice using it in a difficult conversation.” Practice with Coach

Maker: something you can reuse

Maker helps turn what your resources teach into a prompt, context pack, or skill you can use in another AI tool. Example: “Use these interview guides to make a reusable prompt that critiques my interview questions.” Apply with Maker

Why four?

Judging a resource, practicing an idea, and making a reusable tool are different jobs. Each agent brings a different kind of help while drawing on the same workspace. None manages the others, and you don’t have to visit each one. If a conversation belongs with another agent, a handoff can carry the useful context with it. You choose whether to continue.
