When you’re done, you’ll have a finished item in the Studio, ready to take to the AI tools you work in.

Ask Maker for it

  1. Open Apply → Studio.
  2. Choose Make new at the top right. The “Make something new” window opens.
  3. Under “What do you want to make?”, choose one of the buttons: Let Maker choose, Prompt, Context pack, Skill, or Subagent. Prompts, context packs, and skills explains each of them, subagents included.
  4. Under “What should it do?”, enter what you want it for. For example, “Help me get ready for a customer interview.” A rough idea is enough.
  5. Under “What should it draw from?”, your Focus Areas may already be listed. To add a resource, choose the box that reads “Search your resources, collections, and focus areas”. A list opens.
  6. Select a resource from the list. It joins the others above the box.
  7. Choose Make it. Maker’s page opens with your request already sent, and Maker starts on it.

Wait for Maker

While it works, Maker shows a short status line, such as “Sizing this up…”. Then it says what it’s making and what it drew on, and shows a card for the item in the chat. When the card reads “Live”, the item is finished.

Take it to your AI tools

  1. Open Apply → Studio.
  2. Choose the card with your item’s name, the same name as on Maker’s card in the chat. Each card shows the item’s kind, its name, and “Live” or “Maker’s draft”. The item’s page opens, with Copy prompt and Download files under its tabs (for a prompt, Prompt and Resources).
  3. Choose Download files. The item’s files come as a .zip.
  4. Choose Copy prompt. The button reads “Copied”. You’ve copied a short message for your AI tool, not the item itself. The line above the button says to give your AI tool the files and this message, and the tool helps you set the item up. Use what you made in your AI tools covers the other way in: connecting an AI tool to Bettership.
