Send feedback, a bug report, or a feature request from Settings, then find it in the list of what you’ve sent.

Send it from Settings

  1. Open Settings from the bottom of the left sidebar.
  2. Choose Feedback under Support in the list on the left. The Feedback page opens with a form at the top.
  3. Choose Feedback, Bug report, or Feature request at the top of the form. The label on the big box changes to match: “What’s on your mind”, “What happened”, or “What you’d like”.
  4. Enter what you want to say in that box. Title (optional) above it is yours to fill or leave empty.
  5. For a bug report, you can choose Choose image to attach one screenshot. Its file name shows in place of the button, with Remove beside it.
  6. Choose It’s okay to follow up with me about this if you’re happy to get an email about it. Nothing is sent to you otherwise.
  7. Choose Send. It stays greyed out until you’ve picked a type and written something.
A bug report also carries your app version, the page you were on, and your macOS version. The form says so under the box when you choose Bug report.

Or ask Steward

On the Feedback page, choose the button labelled Agent chat at the top right. Steward opens beside the page. Then ask Steward to send it for you. For example:
  • “Please send a feature request: I’d like to sort my Library by the date I last opened a resource.”
  • “What happened to the things I’ve sent?”
Steward reads back what it will send and sends it only after you answer yes in the chat. What Steward sends shows in What you’ve sent like anything you send from the form. Steward doesn’t attach screenshots, so use the form when a picture would help.

Check it worked

The form is replaced by “Thank you. We read every one.” and then comes back empty. What you sent is at the top of What you’ve sent, below the form, with its type, its title, the date, and the status Received. Choose a row to read what you wrote. Next: Contact support
