# Make a review guide or cheat sheet

> Have Coach prepare a review guide or cheat sheet from resources in your Library.

When you're done, you'll have a review guide or cheat sheet that Coach made from the resources you chose.

## Choose what to make

1. In the sidebar on the left, choose **Practice**.
2. Choose the **Materials** tab at the top of the page.
3. At the top right, choose **New material**. The **New material** dialog opens with a tile for each kind you can make. **Review guide** refreshes the ideas, distinctions, and connections in your resources. **Cheat sheet** keeps the essential steps and reminders beside you as you work.
4. Choose a tile. The dialog changes to **New review guide** or **New cheat sheet**.

## Set it up

1. Under **What should it draw from?**, enter part of a resource's title in the field that reads **Search resources, collections, and focus areas**. Matching resources appear in a list below it.
2. Choose the resource in the list. It appears below the field.
3. Under **What should it focus on?**, **Let Coach choose** is selected at first. Coach picks the focus from what your resources cover.
4. To set the focus yourself, choose **Something specific**. A box opens below the two choices.
5. If you chose **Something specific**, enter the focus in the box that reads **What you want to understand, revisit, or put to use.**
6. At the bottom right, choose **Create material**. It stays unavailable until you've chosen something to draw from.

Before you choose **Create material**, you can switch to the other kind. Choose the back arrow at the top left of the dialog, then the other tile. The resources and focus you entered are still there.

## Or ask Coach

1. In the sidebar on the left, choose **Practice**.
2. Choose the **Coach** tab at the top of the page. Coach's chat page opens.
3. In the message field at the bottom of the page, enter what you want and the resource's title. For example: "Please make me a cheat sheet from" followed by the title.
4. Press Return.

Coach replies that it's making the material and shows a card for it while it's prepared.

## Check it worked

After you choose **Create material**, the dialog closes and your material opens. It reads "Coach is preparing your material" until it's ready, then shows the finished review guide or cheat sheet under a title Coach gave it.

If you asked Coach, its reply shows the card while the material is prepared.

Either way, the **Materials** tab lists it, marked **Review guide** or **Cheat sheet**, and also **Preparing** while Coach is still working on it.
