# Ask Steward

> Get oriented and keep your personal context accurate.

Steward helps you put your learning direction into words, keep what Bettership knows about you accurate, and find your way around the app.

## What to ask

These are example starting points:

* “Help me define a Focus Area around handling difficult feedback.”
* “What do you remember about my role? It has changed.”
* “Where can I change how often I get practice emails?”
* “What's the difference between my Library and Inbox?”

Steward can help define and manage Focus Areas, update supported profile details, and find, correct, or remove saved memories. When a change needs your confirmation, you'll see a card with the details before it is saved.

## Where to find Steward

Open **Settings** and choose **Ask Steward**. The **Agent chat** button in Settings also opens Steward beside the page you're viewing.

For context you've saved about yourself, **Manage memories** is available from **Profile** in Settings.

## When another agent can help

Scout handles resource assessment and collection changes. Coach owns practice. Maker creates reusable items. Steward can offer a handoff that carries the useful context into the next conversation. You choose whether to continue.

## What Steward cannot do

Steward cannot submit a support ticket or feedback on your behalf. Describing a problem in chat doesn't send it to a person.

Steward also cannot access payment details, operate a website you're signed in to, grant macOS permissions, or connect a local folder for you. Account deletion and sign-in changes remain your actions in Settings.
