# A capture didn't save

> Keep a paused capture paused when you move its panel.

## What you'll see

A known issue can make a paused capture resume when you move its panel between the main window and a separate window.

## What to do

Keep the panel in place while paused. When you're done, choose **Finish capture** rather than leaving it paused.
