# Where every setting lives

> Know where to change your profile, preferences, and account details.

Open **Settings** using the gear at the bottom of the sidebar. Settings has its own navigation. Choose **Back to app** when you're finished.

## Personal

**Profile** holds details such as your name, role, and preferred AI tools. **Manage memories**, inside Profile, lets you review and correct what Bettership remembers about you.

**Focus areas** is where you manage what you want to get better at. Steward can help you define or change a direction in conversation.

## Workspace

**App preferences** contains appearance, opening at login, the menu bar option, linked terms, permission status, and update controls.

**Practice config** contains session length, the challenge preference, practice reminder emails, and the practice calendar connection. Connecting a calendar feed in Bettership is separate from subscribing to it in your calendar app.

**General** is for connected local folders.

## Account

**Sign-in & security** contains your email, sign-in method, sign-out action, and account deletion.

**Usage** shows your credits: what's left this month, anything carried over, and any extra credits. It also shows your plan's limits on Focus Areas and playbooks, and a list of recent activity with what each action used.

## Support

**Help center** opens this site in your browser. **Ask Steward** starts a chat with Steward about how Bettership works or your account. Telling Steward about a problem doesn't submit a support request.

## Or ask Steward

Use **Agent chat** beside a Settings page to ask about it. Steward can explain the available options and change supported preferences when you ask. Sign-in changes, account deletion, and macOS permissions remain actions you take yourself.
